Sip and snack for scholarships at Vintage Redlands

The owners of the oldest business in Redlands are now nine years into another tradition—raising funds for scholarships by hosting the Vintage Redlands Walking Wine Tasting Tour in historic downtown Redlands.

The self-guided tour begins at Ed Hales Park and leads guests to different shops and businesses where they are invited to taste wine and food while enjoying live entertainment throughout the tour. Each guest will also receive two opportunity drawing tickets for a chance at winning one of a bevy of great prizes valued at up to $2,500.

Citrograph Printing Co. owners Al Hernandez and Ryan Bailey created this event, as well as their fall fundraising  food and wine dinner, to support the Citrograph Scholarship Fund, established nine years ago to honor former Citrograph owner Richard Caudle. The sole purpose is giving back to the community and investing in its future leaders.

More than $50,000 and 20 scholarships have been awarded to University of Redlands students majoring in music—because Caudle loved music,  business—because of Hernandez’s focus, and graphic design—Bailey’s area of expertise. Bailey also serves on the board of Town & Gown.
