San Bernardino, CA, January 10, 2012 – Arrowhead United Way (AUW) received a $15,000 corporate gift from Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) Railway to help fund critical programs in the local community.  AUW and BNSF are longtime partners and have a strong working relationship.  Kenneth Johnson currently serves on the Board of Directors of AUW, as have other BNSF employees for many years. Arrowhead United Way Seeks Volunteers for Make A Difference Day
Arrowhead United Way is partnering with Central City Lutheran Mission (CCLM) to do some much needed repairs. On October 22, 2011, Arrowhead United Way and Central City Lutheran Mission will be hosting the event at 1354 N. G Street in San Bernardino. Activities will begin at 9am and end at approximately 2pm. Arrowhead United Way is in need of 60 volunteers to paint the after school classrooms and plant flowers and fruit trees. Donors Receive Signed Lithograph of Historical Landmark San Bernardino, CA, September 14, 2011: Arrowhead United Way held its annual leadership recognition event San Bernardino History & Railroad Museum in the Santa Fe Depot to recognize members of the Leadership Giving Program. Members of this group consist of individuals in the community who give $1,000 or more annually.
