Sen. Bob Dutton (R-Rancho Cucamonga) announced today that the 31st Senate District has received more than $360,000 from the California Employment Training Panel to be used for job training of area workers in the Inland Empire.
According to the Employment Training Panel, Caremark, L.L.C., in Redlands will receive $74,835 that will allow the company to update the skills of 191 employees in its workforce.
In addition, American Technical Molding in Upland will receive $73,872 to update the skills of 76 employees in its workforce and the California Community College Chancellor’s Office in Rancho Cucamonga will receive $213,238 to update the skills of 605 employees in its workforce.
“Keeping a well-trained workforce is key in ensuring we can remain competitive in attracting jobs to our region,” said Senator Dutton. “I’m very pleased to see that our region has received funds that will be used to enhance work skills that will help people find employment.”
