Newbridge at Avonlea in Corona to Celebrate Grand Opening of Models

10/7/2009 - Newbridge at Avonlea in Corona to Celebrate Grand Opening of Models

On October 10th, home buyers will get their first look at the distinctive designs of Newbridge at Avonlea in Corona as Shea Homes celebrates the grand opening of the community's exquisitely decorated model homes.

The models will showcase Newbridge's three impressive floor plans, which include one sought-after single-story design as well as a pair of spacious two-story plans. Priced from the mid $300,000s and ranging from approximately 2,290 to 2,515 square feet, the homes encompass as many as six bedrooms and three baths plus a three bay garage. Added versatility is provided by additional bedrooms or airy loft in varying plans, while select designs are enhanced by a bright morning room, an optional hobby room or a formal dining room that may be selected as an optional bedroom or study.

“Newbridge has already attracted a large number of home buyers,” stated Janet Benavidez, director of sales for Shea Homes Southern California. “Now that families can tour the models in person, they'll discover a combination of design excellence and exceptional value that can't be beat.”

Everyone who visits the models will be introduced to an array of fine appointments, including fireplace-warmed great rooms and gourmet kitchens featuring handy islands for food preparation and serving, granite countertops, built-in stainless steel GE® appliances, stained hardwood cabinets and ceramic-tile flooring.

Additional touches of excellence range from luxurious master suites with roomy walk-in closets to Price Pfister® chrome plumbing fixtures to mirrored wardrobe doors in secondary bedrooms. And for comfort and convenience, prewiring for ceiling fans is provided in all bedrooms, lofts, bonus and media rooms, and advanced CAT 5e wiring provides telephone and computer connections in key locations throughout each home.

The striking appearance of the homes begins with a mix of richly detailed architectural styles, including Spanish, Traditional, Craftsman, Cottage and Farmhouse, and each is accented with fire-resistant concrete tile roofing and complete front-yard landscaping with automatic sprinklers. Homesites measuring a minimum of 9,000 square feet provide plenty of space for outdoor enjoyment.

Newbridge is joined at Avonlea by the impressive one- and two-story residences of Carmody, which range from approximately 2,938 to 3,551 square feet, including three to five bedrooms, two and one-half to three and one-half baths and a secluded den plus a three- or four-bay garage. Varying plans also offer the added versatility of a loft, media room, bonus room or fireplace-warmed gathering room. Buyers will also be able to tailor their home to their lifestyle by taking advantage of an array of flexible room options. Among the possibilities, which vary by plan, are convenient home offices, quiet studies, master-suite retreats, super great rooms and extra bedrooms and baths. Prices start in the high $300,000s.

Ideally located for commuting to both Riverside and Orange Counties, Avonlea will reward families with an abundance of recreational amenities within minutes of their homes. The 2,000-acre Prado Regional Park offers activities ranging from fishing, horseback riding and camping to hiking, picnicking, golf and shooting. Sports enthusiasts will also enjoy the park’s softball and soccer fields, archery range and horseshoe pits.

Education is just as convenient as recreation, with three brand-new schools located just a short distance from Avonlea. They include Clara Barton Elementary, River Heights Intermediate School and Eleanor Roosevelt High School, and all offer state-of-the-art classrooms and the educational excellence of the Corona-Norco Unified School District.

To join in the grand opening celebration at Newbridge at Avonlea, exit the Chino Valley Freeway (71) at Euclid Avenue and drive north. Turn right on Pine Avenue and continue to Hellman Avenue and turn right. Turn left on Aldergate Drive and follow the signs to Avonlea on the right. Models at both Newbridge and Carmody are open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Wednesdays from 2 to 6 p.m. Additional information is available by calling 951-549-3549 or visiting sheahomes.com.
