Spend a Night at Morey Mansion Bed and Breakfast in Redlands

The Historical Glass Museum Foundation is offering a 1 out of 10 chance to win a night for two at the beautiful Morey Mansion Bed and Breakfast in Redlands. To cover the loss of $12,000 worth of glass recently taken from a locked public storage unit, the museum is offering three prizes to raise funds to pay for insulation and wallboard in the future Museum of Contemporary American Glass.

A donation of $100 to the HGMF Restoration Fund will guarantee the donor one in ten chance to win their choice of Prize #1 - A night for two at the Morey Mansion; Prize #2 - A weekend in Big Bear at a lovely cabin in Sugarloaf. (retail value $250); or Prize #3 - A gourmet dinner for four including wine and classical guitar music by Stuart Green at the Victorian home of Sandie Green (retail value $175-$200).

Each prize will generate $1,000 to be used to restore the Andersen House. The recent theft cost the museum an estimated $20,000 in lost sales of glass and antiques. Money that would have been used for the restoration project. The first $3,000 donated will pay for needed insulation in the Andersen House.

A $1000 goal has been set for each prize. As soon as ten $100 checks have been received ($1000.00) the foundation will draw for that prize. Each participant has a 1 in 10 chance toward winning the prize of their choice. There will be as many prizes as there are donations.

Donations for $100.00, may be sent to the Historical Glass Museum Foundation , c/o Sandie Green, 516 Walnut Ave. Redlands, Ca. 92373. Information: For answers to your questions, please call Sandie at (909) 798-8140.

State which prize you are want to win. A drawing will be made once the goal of $1000 has been met for each prize. The winner will be announced to each of the ten donors. Those whose name is not drawn, will be sent a tax form that will allow the donor to deduct the $100 on their income taxes.

The prizes have been graciously donated by people who have been touched by our loss and have rallied to make this fund raiser a success. The proceeds will allow the HGMF to continue renovations on the Marten Andersen house.

The Historical Glass Museum , 1157 N. Orange St., Redlands, is open weekends 12:00 - 4:00. Admission by donation.
