RIVERSIDE ORANGE BLOSSOM FESTIVAL 2007

The new event is as follows:

With the City of Riverside & UCR, the 100th Anniversary Open House & Citrus Heritage Celebration will be held on Sat, April 21st, 2007, 10-4 at UCR, Lot 30

It's Riverside Orange Blossom Festival Logotime again to appreciate the wonders of oranges. The City of Riverside is providing its Annual Orange Blossom Festival free to the public. Don’t forget to mark your calendars for the dates of May 20th – May 21st at 10am. Your taste buds will be satisfy with unique foods that offer a touch of variety of citruses. There will be creative recipes that are orange inspired. The choices are endless, with orange kettle corn, orange ice cream and other great orange cold treats that will refresh your taste buds, and of course there will be great old fashion fresh squeezed orange juice!

This is just the beginning, if you thought the orange treats were then end of the festival’s creativities, than be ready to come with a an empty stomach. There will be many options on great orange inspired foods like BBQ sauces, chicken, turkey and even egg rolls with amazing orange sauce. Who would have thought there were endless ways to use oranges?

Your stomachs will not have all the fun. There will be a lot of great entertainment for all ages: a parade, carnival, music, food, fireworks, shopping, and the Orange Blossom Festival. You will be able to enjoy a diversity of talents. From dancers to storytellers, you will be able to see a variety of talented artists. The local high schools will be participating, showing many artworks.

The popular parade this year will be held on Saturday, May 20th at 10 am. The theme this year has yet to be announced. There will be many participants in the parade, from marching bands to Chinese Dragons. This is great family fun.
