(July 18, 2011)  A new fitness center is coming to San Bernardino thanks to assistance from the City of San Bernardino Economic Development Agency, Office of Business Development. According to Lori Tillery, economic development manager, San Bernardino Fitness LLC has signed a lease on a 24,000-square foot retail facility at 2041 E. Highland Avenue. Tillery said memberships will be on sale in August and the center is scheduled to open in September. SBVEZ exceeds number of vouchers filed last year in half the time
Enterprise zone experiences jump in business use of program SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (July 18, 2011) –The San Bernardino Valley Enterprise Zone (SBVEZ) announced today the businesses utilizing the zone have filed more than 2,000 hiring tax credit vouchers since Jan. 2011. The number of vouchers filed this year will soon exceed the total number of vouchers filed in 2010, in just half the time. Last year, approximately 2,300 vouchers were filed by 182 businesses.
