Good article. I agree in the value of the design as a differentiator, but care must be taken when looking at quality as design vs. quality design. I believe that overall value includes quality, design or image, service and price. Decisions are made on overall value. But given a plain toilet brush, vs. a well designed one, (at close tot he same price), I'll take the well designed one every time. (I assume that the quality will be similar, after all its a brush!)
